As I have said before in comments to your guestbook, I maintain distinct memories of the work of Irvin Yalom. His works were ever-present on the bookshelves of the therapists I knew when I studied in the SF Bay Area in the late '70s and early '80s.
It is good to see that the traditions he founded live on - traditions involving scholarship and a dedication to human well-being. Psychology, psychologists and psychotherapists benefit from his legacy.
Thank you for keeping me informed about upcoming workshops and events.

My Dear Friend, Dr. Wyatt:
I would like to make and see contributions in the future regarding transracial/transcultural issues in psychotherapy, especially through the medium of both non-public schools and community-based mental health programs. I am also working on these issues as they relate to Juvenile Sex Offenders.
Your site is a terrific resource!!! I highly recommend it to both my students and colleagues.

I am here following the steps of my great authority and teacher, a person through whose books I get my profesional knowledge and with no exageration my big hope and love to people. Since three years ago when I first "met" him I try to find every thing he has done, either in English or in Russian. I would call this message as my Hi and apreciation and wishing good luck to him. Thank you, Irving Yalom!

Great website. Comprehensive materials and a valuable source of reference. I in particular like the free access to articles from a great variety of practitioners; much to prompt reflection.

Thank you for making such a comprehensive psychology website. The videos and books always help me with my many projects in graduate school. Group Therapy, Lying on the Couch, and Love's Executioner are all great!

Love the site, my first impression today... How about considering some of the work of Belleruth Naprarstek (LCSW)(HealthJourney.com). We mental health practitioners and bodyworkers at the local hospital here have been using her work withing the hospital setting (i.e., in the Integrative Therapy program at Boulder Community Hospital). Love the humor...they'd make great greeting cards!!

Wonderful website--and very user-friendly. I especially enjoy the humor. Great resource for Humor Therapy as well as more "conventional" approaches to therapy. I could spend a lot of time (and money) here. Keep up the good work.

I feel the website could be a very valuable tool and resource for many people in the field, however, after reading the Stephanie Brown interview, I can only hope there is some effort to furnish information that may dispute much of what she was saying. I have 17 years in the fieid of both addictions and mental health counseling and feel the interviewers were unknowledgable about other treatment modalities such as what the "newer" field of psychology - Transpersonal Psychology, which incorporates spirituality into therapuetic work. But not so "in your face" as AA. Also, simply replacing a drug addiction with a codependant addiction with AA or a sponser is ludacris. No reliable studies yet have shown AA to be anything more than an adjunct support and possibly even hinder the therapuetic process. Dr. Brown's view, in my opinion, certainly will hinder those seeking freedom from all addictive behavior. google "stanton peele".

I have a question rather than a comment. I work as an coach/councilor for senior managers and am often confronted by burn-out symptoms and existensial frustration caused by value and authenticity conflicts. Because of the distances I travel to meet clients my sessions last 3/4 hours.
I have been looking through your list of DVD material and can't find anything looking specifically
at this area. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you.
