Bruce Moon, PhD

Bruce Moon is a multidisciplinary artist, educator, and clinician whose work spans music, visual art, poetry, performance, and art therapy. A prolific singer‑songwriter, he has released 33 LPs and produced hundreds of videos reflecting his Midwestern roots and commitment to themes of justice, morality, and resilience. Moon spent 22 years as an art therapist working with traumatized children and adolescents, a role that continues to shape his creative voice. An ordained Methodist minister and professor emeritus at Mount Mary University, he has authored 12 influential books and helped establish the first Professional Doctorate in Art Therapy program. With decades of performance experience—including international venues—Moon continues to record, perform, and mentor emerging artists.
