State Requirements
Psychotherapy.net is an approved CE provider for the state of Alaska by:
- The Alaska Board of Psychologists and Psychological Associate Examiners accepts courses from any provider who is APA approved.
- The Alaska Board of Professional Counselors accepts courses from any provider who is APA and/or NBCC approved.
- The Alaska Board of Marital and Family Therapy accepts courses from any provider who is NBCC and/or NAADAC approved.
- The Alaska Board of Social Work Examiners accepts courses approved by ASWB ACE.
License Requirements
Psychologists
20 hours every year
Marriage and Family Therapy
MFT: 45 hours every two years
Licensed Professional Counselor
LPC: 40 hours every two years
ALC: 40 hours each year
Social Worker
LBSW / LMSW / LICSW: 45 hours every 2 years
