State Requirements
Psychotherapy.net is an approved CE provider for the state of Arizona by:
- The Arizona Board of Examiners in Psychology accepts courses from any provider who is APA approved.
- The Arizona Board of Examiners in Counseling accepts courses from any provider who is NBCC and/or NAADAC approved.
- The Arizona Board of Examiners in Marriage & Family Therapy accepts courses from any provider who is APA and/or NBCC approved.
- The Arizona Board of Social Work Examiners accepts courses approved by ASWB ACE.
License Requirements
Psychologists
40 hours every 2 years; 4 of the 40 hours must be in ethics, and 4 in domestic violence or child abuse every two years.
Marriage and Family Therapy
MFT: 30 hours every 2 years
Licensed Professional Counselor
LPC: 30 hours every 3 years
Social Worker
LBSW / LMSW / LICSW: 30 hours every 2 years; 3 hours in behavioral health ethics or mental health law, 3 hours in cultural competency and diversity
