State Requirements
Psychotherapy.net is an approved CE provider for the state of Connecticut by:
- The Connecticut Department of Public Health accepts courses from any provider who is APA approved.
- The Connecticut Department of Public Health accepts courses from any provider who is APA and/or NBCC approved for LMFTs.
- The Connecticut Department of Public Health accepts courses from any provider who is NBCC and/or NAADAC approved for Counselors.
- The Connecticut Department of Public Health accepts courses from any provider who is approved by ASWB ACE for Social Workers.
License Requirements
Psychologists
10 hours each year, 5 of which may be completed by home study or distance learning
Marriage and Family Therapy
MFT: 15 hours each year
Licensed Professional Counselor
LPC: 15 hours each year
Social Worker
LBSW / LMSW / LICSW: 15 hours each year
