State Requirements
Psychotherapy.net is an approved CE provider for the state of Delaware by:
- The Delaware Board of Examiners of Psychologists accepts courses from any provider who is APA approved.
- The Board of Professional Counselors of Mental Health and Chemical Dependency Professionals accepts courses from any provider who is NBCC and/or NAADAC approved for LMFTs.
- The Delaware Division of Professional Regulation accepts courses from any provider who is APA and/or NBCC approved for Counselors.
- The Delaware Board of Social Work Examiners accepts courses approved by ASWB ACE.
License Requirements
Psychologists
40 hours every 2 years, all of which may be completed by home study. A minimum of 3 of the 40 hours must be in ethics every two years.
Marriage and Family Therapy
MFT: 40 hours every 2 years
Licensed Professional Counselor
LPC: 40 hours every 2 years
Social Worker
LBSW: 20 hours every 2 years, 6 hours in ethics
LMSW: 30 hours every 2 years, 6 hours in ethics
LICSW: 40 hours every 2 years, 6 hours in ethics
