State Requirements
Psychotherapy.net is an approved CE provider for the state of Georgia by:
- The Georgia State Board of Examiners of Psychologists accepts courses from any provider who is APA approved.
- The Board of Professional Counselors, Social Workers, and Marriage & Family Therapists of Georgia accepts courses from any provider who is NBCC and/or NAADAC approved for Counselors.
- The Board of Professional Counselors, Social Workers, and Marriage & Family Therapists of Georgia accepts courses from any provider who is APA and/or NBCC approved for LMFTs.
- The Board of Professional Counselors, Social Workers, and Marriage & Family Therapists of Georgia accepts courses approved by ASWB ACE for Social Workers.
License Requirements
Psychologists
40 hours every 2 years. A minimum of 6 of the 40 hours must be in ethics every 2 years.
Marriage and Family Therapy
MFT: 35 hours every 2 years, 5 hours of ethics required.
Licensed Professional Counselor
LPC: 35 hours every 2 years, 5 hours of ethics required.
Social Worker
LBSW / LMSW / LICSW: 35 hours every 2 years, only 10 hours of distance learning allowed, 5 hours of ethics required.
