State Requirements
Psychotherapy.net is an approved CE provider for the state of Hawaii by:
- The Hawaii Board of Psychology accepts courses from any provider who is APA approved.
- The Hawaii Mental Health Counselor Licensing Program accepts courses from any provider who is NBCC and/or NAADAC approved for Counselors.
- The Hawaii Board of Marriage and Family Therapists accepts courses from any provider who is APA and/or NBCC approved for LMFTs.
- The Hawaii State Professional and Vocational Licensing Division Social Worker Program Rules accepts courses approved by ASWB ACE for Social Workers.
License Requirements
Psychologists
18 hours every 2 years, all of which may be completed by home study.
Marriage and Family Therapy
MFT: 45 hours every 3 years, with 6 hours of ethics.
Licensed Professional Counselor
LPC: Hawaii does not have CE requirements for licensure renewal.
Social Worker
LBSW / LMSW / LICSW: 45 hours every 3 years, with 3 hours of ethics.
