State Requirements
Psychotherapy.net is an approved CE provider for the state of Idaho by:
- The Idaho Board of Psychologist Examiners accepts courses from any provider who is APA approved.
- The Division of Occupational and Professional Licenses accepts courses from any provider who is NBCC and/or NAADAC approved for Counselors.
- The Division of Occupational and Professional Licenses accepts courses from any provider who is APA and/or NBCC approved for LMFTs.
- The Idaho Board of Social Work Examiners accepts courses approved by ASWB ACE for Social Workers.
License Requirements
Psychologists
20 hours each year, 6 of which may be completed by home study and 10 of which may be completed online.
A minimum of 4 of the 20 hours must be in ethics every third renewal.
Marriage and Family Therapy
MFT: 20 hours every year.
Licensed Professional Counselor
LPC: 20 hours every year.
Social Worker
LBSW / LMSW / LICSW: 30 hours every year. 2 hours of ethics every year.
