State Requirements
Psychotherapy.net is an approved CE provider for the state of Kansas by:
- The Kansas Behavioral Science Regulatory Board accepts courses from any provider who is APA approved.
- The Kansas Behavioral Science Regulatory Board accepts courses from any provider who is NBCC and/or NAADAC approved for Counselors.
- The Kansas Behavioral Science Regulatory Board accepts courses from any provider who is APA and/or NBCC approved for LMFTs.
- The Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board Social Work accepts courses approved by ASWB ACE.
License Requirements
Psychologists
50 hours every 2 years; 6 of the 50 hours must be in diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders and 3 in ethics every two years.
Marriage and Family Therapy
MFT: 40 hours every 2 years; 6 hours must be in diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders and 3 in ethics every two years.
Licensed Professional Counselor
LPC: 30 hours every 2 years; 6 hours must be in diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders and 3 in ethics every two years.
Social Worker
LBSW / LMSW / LICSW: 40 hours every 2 years; 6 hours must be in social worker safety awareness training.
