State Requirements
Psychotherapy.net is an approved CE provider for the state of Kentucky by:
- The Department of Professional Licensing
Board of Examiners of Psychology accepts courses from any provider who is APA approved. - The Kentucky Board of Licensure for Marriage and Family Therapists accepts courses from any provider who is APA and/or NAADAC approved.
- The Kentucky Board of Licensed Professional Counselors accepts courses from any provider who is APA and/or NBCC approved.
- The Kentucky Board of Social Work accepts courses approved by ASWB ACE.
License Requirements
Psychologists
39 hours every 3 years, 12 of which may be completed by home study.
Marriage and Family Therapy
MFT: 15 hours every 2 years.
Licensed Professional Counselor
LPC: 10 hours every year.
Social Worker
LBSW / LMSW / LICSW: 30 hours every 3 years, 3 hours of ethics.
LSW: 15 hours every 3 years, 3 hours of ethics.
