State Requirements
Psychotherapy.net is an approved CE provider for the state of Nevada by:
- The Nevada Board of Psychological Examiners accepts courses from any provider who is APA approved.
- The Nevada Board of Examiners accepts courses from any provider who is NBCC and/or NAADAC approved.
- The Nevada Board of Examiners accepts courses from any provider who is APA and/or NBCC approved.
- The Nevada State Board of Examiners for Social Workers accepts courses approved by ASWB ACE.
License Requirements
Psychologists
30 hours every 2 years, 15 of which may be home study.
Marriage and Family Therapy
MFT: 20 hours every year.
Licensed Professional Counselor
LPC: 20 hours every year.
Social Worker
LASW: 30 hours every 2 years, with 4 in ethics.
LSW: 30 hours every 2 years, with 4 in ethics.
LCSW: 36 hours every 2 years, with 4 in ethics.
LISW: 36 hours every 2 years, with 4 in ethics.
