State Requirements
Psychotherapy.net is an approved CE provider for the state of New Mexico by:
- The New Mexico Board of Psychologist Examiners accepts courses from any provider who is APA approved.
- The New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department accepts courses from any provider who is NBCC and/or NAADAC approved.
- The New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department accepts courses from any provider who is APA and/or NBCC approved.
- The New Mexico State Board of Social Work Examiners accepts courses approved by ASWB ACE.
License Requirements
Psychologists
40 hours every 2 years, 25 of which may be completed by home study.
Marriage and Family Therapy
MFT: 40 hours every 2 years.
Licensed Professional Counselor
LPC: 40 hours every 2 years.
Social Worker
LBSW / LMSW / LICSW: 30 hours every 2 years
