State Requirements
Psychotherapy.net is an approved CE provider for the state of Rhode Island by:
- The Rhode Island Board of Psychology accepts courses from any provider who is APA approved.
- The Rhode Island LPC Board accepts courses from any provider who is NBCC and/or NAADAC approved.
- The Rhode Island MFT Board accepts courses from any provider who is APA and/or NBCC approved.
- The Rhode Island Clinical Social Workers and Independent Clinical Social Workers accepts courses approved by ASWB ACE.
License Requirements
Psychologists
24 hours every 2 years.
Marriage and Family Therapy
MFT: 40 hours every 2 years.
Licensed Professional Counselor
LPC: 40 hours every 2 years.
Social Worker
LCSW / LICSW: 30 hours every 2 years, with 3 hours of ethics.
