State Requirements
Psychotherapy.net is an approved CE provider for the state of South Carolina by:
- The South Carolina Board of Examiners in Psychology accepts courses from any provider who is APA approved.
- The South Carolina Examiners for Licensure of Professional Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists, Addiction Counselors and Psycho-Educational Specialists accept courses from any provider who is NBCC and/or NAADAC approved.
- The South Carolina Examiners for Licensure of Professional Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists, Addiction Counselors and Psycho-Educational Specialists accept courses from any provider who is APA and/or NBCC approved.
- The State Board of Social Work Examiners accepts courses approved by ASWB ACE.
License Requirements
Psychologists
24 hours every 2 years.
Marriage and Family Therapy
MFT: 40 hours every 2 years.
Licensed Professional Counselor
LPC: 40 hours every 2 years.
Social Worker
LBSW / LMSW / LISW-CP / LISW-AP: 40 hours every 2 years.
