State Requirements
Psychotherapy.net is an approved CE provider for the state of Utah by:
- The Utah Psychologists Licensing Board accepts courses from any provider who is APA approved.
- The Utah Board of CMHC accepts courses from any provider who is NBCC and/or NAADAC approved.
- The Utah Board of Marriage and Family Therapy accepts courses from any provider who is APA and/or NBCC approved.
- The Utah Board of Social Work accepts courses approved by ASWB ACE.
License Requirements
Psychologists
48 hours every two years, 18 of which may be taken by home study/distance learning.
Marriage and Family Therapy
MFT: 40 hours every 2 years.
Licensed Professional Counselor
LPC: 40 hours every 2 years.
Social Worker
CSW / SSW: 20 hours every 2 years, with 6 hours in ethics, law, or technology.
LCSW: 40 hours every 2 years, with 6 hours in ethics, law, or technology.
