State Requirements
Psychotherapy.net is an approved CE provider for the state of Washington by:
- The Washington State Examining Board of Psychology accepts courses from any provider who is APA approved.
- The Washington State Department of Health accepts courses from any provider who is NBCC and/or NAADAC approved.
- The Washington State Department of Health accepts courses from any provider who is APA and/or NBCC approved.
- The Washington State Department of Health accepts courses approved by ASWB ACE.
License Requirements
Psychologists
60 hours every three years, all of which may be taken by home study. 4 of the 60 hours must be in ethics, and 6 of the 60 must be in suicide management, assessment and intervention.
Marriage and Family Therapy
MFT: 36 hours every 2 years. 6 of the 36 must be in ethics every 2 years, and 6 of the 36 must be in in suicide management, assessment and intervention every six years.
MFTA: 18 hours every year. 6 of of the 18 must be in ethics.
Licensed Professional Counselor
LPC: 36 hours every 2 years. 6 of the 36 must be in ethics every 2 years.
ALC: 18 hours every year. 6 of of the 18 must be in ethics.
Social Worker
LSW: 36 hours every two years, with 6 hours in ethics.
LA: 18 hours every two years, with 6 hours in ethics.
