State Requirements
Psychotherapy.net is an approved CE provider for the state of West Virginia by:
- The West Virginia Board of Examiners of Psychologists accepts courses from any provider who is APA approved.
- The West Virginia Board of Examiners in Counseling accepts courses from any provider who is NBCC and/or NAADAC approved.
- The West Virginia Board of Examiners in Counseling accepts courses from any provider who is APA and/or NBCC approved.
- The West Virginia Board of Social Work accepts courses approved by ASWB ACE.
License Requirements
Psychologists
20 hours every 2 years, all of which may be completed by home study.
Marriage and Family Therapy
MFT: 35 hours every 2 years.
Licensed Professional Counselor
/LMSW/LICSW/35 hours every 2 years.
Social Worker
LSW / LGSW / LCSW / LICSW: 40 hours every 2 years, 1 year of face to face or independent study.
