COURSE DETAILS

Overview

The couple each complete two drawings describing their relationship and Betensky encourages them to speak directly to each other to explain their images. As the session progresses, Dr. Betensky demonstrates the phenomenological approach for which she is well known.

The film has an introduction by Aina Nucho, author of The Psychocybernetic Approach to Art Therapy and a conclusion by Jungian analyst, Sandy Geller, who studied art therapy with Dr. Mala Betensky. Both of these commentaries are historically fascinating and add depth to the viewing.

Commentary by Sandy Geller, MA, ATR-BC, LPC, LCPAT
