In Volume 2, Dr. Sarah Bowen begins with an overview of her research and the three primary foundations of MBRP. Based on the idea that people tend to relapse when they’re feeling something they don’t want to feel, the method offers a well-rounded set of skills designed to support clients’ ability to identify, observe, and diffuse challenging internal states. Ashwood also provides useful commentary throughout, describing his goals and noting places where practitioners can make the methods their own.
