Overview

In this sequel to Rodrick’s Initial Hearing, Rodrick’s disposition hearing will determine the outcome of his case. With new evidence the court, as well as Rodrick’s supporters and family, will reconvene to discuss what the best outcome for Rodrick to keep him moving in a positive direction.

You’ll get a fly-on-the-wall perspective of the juvenile justice system as it aims to hold adolescents accountable. You’ll see the difference between juvenile and adult court as well as the ways the therapist, prosecutor, and public defender view Rodrick’s actions. Was it an inevitable setback on the road to recovery, or is he in need of more punishment to be held accountable? Is “rehabilitation” truly the shared goal of all?
