Men and women are often confused about themselves as sexual beings and are vulnerable to distorted self-perceptions and destructive internal voices that have been incorporated during their developmental years.

Dr. Robert Firestone describes early childhood experiences and societal influences that impact an individual’s emerging sexuality. Robert FirestoneRobert Firestone, PhD is the Glendon Association's consulting theorist. His innovative ideas related to psychotherapy, couple and family relationships, suicide and parenting are the cornerstone of Glendon's research and publications.
