Sam Louie, LMHC Sam Louie, LMHC, is a psychotherapist, speaker, and author based in Seattle, Washington. Prior to counseling, he worked a number of years as an Emmy Award-Winning television journalist. He is the author of Asian Shame and Addiction: Suffering in Silence, as well as Spoken not Broken: Healing through Poetry, a spoken word poetry book which addresses cultural identity, mental health and spirituality. He also writes a blog for Psychology Today.
