Stephen Feldman

Stephen Feldman, JD, PhD, is an attorney and psychologist who has practiced and taught both law and psychology from Harvard in the east to Seattle University in the west. He holds a law degree from Harvard and a psychology degree from the University of Nebraska. He has lectured extensively on the law and ethics of mental health practice at conferences and in academic settings. His numerous articles and books include the Washington state volume of the American Psychological Association's series, Law & Mental Health Professionals (co-author). He currently is on the faculty of the University of Washington School of Medicine, and in private practice consulting with counseling services and individual practitioners on legal and ethical problems that arise in the course of practice. He was named the "Distinguished Psychologist" for 2006 by the Washington State Psychological Association.

Marnee W. Milner, JD, PhD, is an attorney and psychologist, currently practicing in Washington State.  She received her law degree from Golden Gate University School of Law and her doctorate from Pacific Graduate School of Psychology.  Dr. Milner's training was completed at the Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Health Care System with a postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology at Brown University/Butler Hospital. Currently Dr. Milner is in private practice performing neuropsychological and psychological evaluations and, with Dr. Feldman, consulting with counseling services and individual practitioners on legal and ethical problems that arise in the course of practice.  Her website is www.drmarneemilner.com.

Stephen Grigelevich

Stephen Grigelevich, LICSW, is an artist, activist and licensed clinical social worker living and working in the Boston area. He emphasizes experiential learning in the therapeutic process, and uses a combination of behavioralexposure therapy, mindfulness and existential approaches in his private practice work with clients. Stephen is also a contributing political and cultural writer for the Boston arts org Brain Arts, and his writing can be found at brain-arts.org/blog. Stephen's research interests include identity development, grief and loss, and the effects of power and authority in the therapeutic process. 

Stephen Madigan

Stephen Madigan, MSW, also holds an MSc and PhD in couple and family therapy. In 1992, he opened the Vancouver School for Narrative Therapy through Yaletown Family Therapy in Vancouver, Canada, as the first narrative therapy training site in the Northern Hemisphere. He hosts the yearly Therapeutic Conversations Conference, publishes widely, and teaches narrative training workshops worldwide.

The American Family Therapy Academy (AFTA) recently honored Dr. Madigan with their Distinguished Award for Innovative Practice in Family Therapy Theory and Practice. The American Psychological Association (APA) has just released a set of six live DVD sessions of his work entitled Narrative Therapy Through Time, and has also published his new book, Narrative Therapy: Theory and Practice.

Dr. Madigan is a "retired" member of Canada's National Ultimate Frisbee Team and the proud father of 15-year-old twin daughters, Hannah and Tessa.

Stephen Schueller

Stephen Schueller, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Psychological Science and Informatics at the University of California, Irvine. He received his BA in Psychology from the University of California, Riverside, PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, and completed his clinical internship and postdoctoral fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco. At UCI he leads the Technology and Mental Health (TEAM) Lab, is a faculty member in the Connected Learning Lab, and the Jacobs CERES Center, and leads the implementation evaluation core for the Help@Hand Evaluation Team. He is also the Executive Director of One Mind PsyberGuide, a project the aims to empower consumers to make informed choices around digital mental health products. As a clinical psychologist and mental health service researcher his work broadly looks at creating more scalable mental health resources that make treatment more available and accessible, especially with technology. In his work he has developed, evaluated, and disseminated various web- and mobile interventions for the treatment and prevention of mental health issues, especially common mental health issues such as depression and anxiety. His research has been funded by the National Institute of Mental Health, the Jacobs Foundation, One Mind, Pivotal Ventures, and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. 

Stephen Snow

Stephen Snow, PhD., RDT- BCT, is a registered drama therapist, board certified trainer in drama therapy, and a certified practitioner of Playback Theatre. Snow came to Concordia University (Montreal) in 1992 as an associate professor in the department of theatre, with the express purpose of founding a drama therapy graduate program. In 1996, he co-founded the Centre for the Arts in Human Development, an innovative research, clinical practice and training centre at the university. In 1997, he co-founded the drama therapy masters program in the department of creative arts therapies, where he is presently chair and professor of drama therapy. He is the originator of a unique approach to therapeutic theatre and has directed over 40 such productions in this genre; documentaries on this work have appeared on both NBC and CBC television. He has received foundation funding to produce this performance-based research, as well as two Social Science and Humanities Research Council grants for assessment and performance ethnography research, respectively.

Snow has been the recipient of research awards from the National Association for Drama Therapy and the American Association for Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. In 2001, he received the Gertrud Schattner Award for Distinguished Service to Drama Therapy from NADT. He is co-editor and co-author of Assessment in the Creative Arts Therapies (2009) and Assessment in Drama Therapy (2012). His present research integrates methods of drama therapy with ethnnodrama.

Sebastian Kaplan

Sebastian Kaplan, PhD, is a clinical psychologist and Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Section, at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine. A former special education teacher, Dr. Kaplan, PhD currently focuses his clinical work on helping adolescents and their families overcome a variety of challenges to their growth and development. He has written and presented on the application of MI for pediatricians, mental health providers, and school personnel, and is a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers.
