Michelle Jurkiewicz, PsyD, is a licensed clinical psychologist and gender specialist in private practice in Berkeley, CA. She has provided therapeutic services for children, youth, and parents since 2003. Dr Jurkiewicz, co-author of Gender Explained, was an early pioneer in pediatric work with transgender, nonbinary, and gender diverse children. In addition to currently providing psychotherapy for people and couples of all ages, she trains newer clinicians in using the Gender Affirmative Model in their clinical work.

Mike Clark, MEd
Mike Clark, MEd, is a doctoral student in the counseling psychology program at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He holds a master’s degree in counseling psychology with an emphasis in sport and enjoys working at the intersection of mental performance and well being. He is the owner of Clark Performance Consulting where he works independently with coaches, athletes, and other performers to utilize mental skills training to improve performance.
Mike Williams
Mike Williams is a registered member of the NZ Association of Counsellors (NZAC) and is a member of the Assocation's Ethics Committee. He holds a M.Ed hons from the University of Waikato. Mike first used the Undercover Anti Bullying approach over 20 years ago while he was a high school counsellor in Auckland, New Zealand. He met John Winslade while completing his Masters degree and John encouraged him to write about it. They continued to develop the approach and it was included in their book, Safe and Peaceful Schools: Managing Conflict and Eliminating Violence (Corwin,2012). Mike was nominated for NZer of the Year by the NZ Herald and their work gained international recognition. Mike ran over 50 successful Under Cover Anti Bullying Teams during his working life and their book has been translated into Japanese and Chinese. The inspiration for this approach came from Narrative Therapy and Narrative Conflict resolution theory and continues to evolve through practitioners in Japan, California and Denmark and throughout New Zealand.

Milton Viederman
Dr. Milton Viederman is Emeritus Professor of Psychiatry at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University and until recently directed the Consultation-Liaison Service at the New York Presbyterian Hospital. Among the institutions at which Dr. Viederman has lectured are Oxford University, Harvard University, Duke University Medical School, University of Chicago, and UCLA School of Medicine. His honors include four Outstanding Teacher Awards at Cornell and two at the Columbia Psychoanalytic Center for Training and Research, the Ruth Easer Memorial Lecture at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Toronto, Ontario, Outstanding Lifetime Achievement Award from the Society for Liaison Psychiatry, the Robert Liebert Award in Applied Psychoanalysis, the Dr. Nathan Seidel Lecture on the Art of Medicine at the Beth Israel Hospital in Boston among others.
A psychodynamic perspective and an interest in the narrative structure of people's lives formed his Consultation-Liaison experience. Many of his publications address therapeutic change in the psychoanalytic situation and therapeutic possibilities during consultation. His recent publications include: George Seurat: A Life Divided, Active Engagement During the Consultation Process, Presence and Enactment in the process of Psychotherapeutic Change, The Uses of the Past and the Actualization of a Family Romance, Metaphor and Meaning in Conversion Disorder, The Therapeutic Consultation: Finding the Patient, and A Model for Interpretative Supportive Dynamic Psychotherapy.

Molyn Leszcz, MD, FRCPC, CGP, DFAGPA. Dr. Molyn Leszcz is Professor, Department of Psychiatry, University of Toronto. He served as President of the American Group Psychotherapy Association, from 2020-2022. Dr Leszcz also served as Psychiatrist-in-Chief at Sinai Health System, 2006-2017, Vice Chair, Clinical for the Department of Psychiatry, University of Toronto, 2010-2017, and Chair (Interim) the Department of Psychiatry, University of Toronto, 2014-15. Dr. Leszcz’s academic and clinical work has focused on improving integration in psychiatric care and broadening the application of the psychotherapies within psychiatry. Dr. Leszcz has worked extensively in the areas of physician wellness and leadership, along with the effects of pandemic stress on health care providers. He co-authored with Irvin Yalom, the 5th and 6th (2020) editions of the Theory and Practice of Group Psychotherapy. A co-authored book in the Psychotherapy Essentials to Go series, Achieving Psychotherapy Effectiveness, was published in 2015. Dr. Leszcz was awarded the Anne Alonso Award for Outstanding Contributions to Psychodynamic Group Therapy and also was awarded Distinguished Fellowship in the American Group Psychotherapy Association. Dr. Leszcz has been the recipient of a number of education and teaching awards at the University of Toronto.

Marvin Goldfried, Ph.D., is the Distinguished Professor of Clinical Psychology at Stonybrook University. He is cofounder of the Society for the Exploration of Psychotherapy Integration; founding Editor of In Session: Psychotherapy in Practice; Past President of the Society for Psychotherapy Research; and recipient of the American Psychological Association (APA) Division of Clinical Psychology's 1998 award for Distinguished Research Contributions to Clinical Psychology as well as the APA/American Psychological Foundation Lifetime Achievement Award for the Application of Psychology.
