Janet Sasson Edgette

Janet Sasson Edgette, PsyD is a practicing psychotherapist, as well as a highly sought-after consultant and seminar leader for schools and mental health agencies in the area of adolescent and family therapy. Janet Wolfe

Janet L. Wolfe, PhD has served for over 25 years as Executive Director of the Albert Ellis Institute in New York City, and currently has a private consulting and therapy practice in New York City.

Dr. Wolfe has conducted hundreds of workshops and has helped spawn numerous programs in schools, clinics, and agencies based on REBT/CBT principles. She has written extensively in professional books and journals and is co-editor of The Resource Book for Practitioners and author of What to Do When He Has a Headache: Renewing Desire and Intimacy in Your Relationship.

Janice DeLucia-Waack, PhD & Allen Segrist, PhD

Janice DeLucia-Waack, PhD, is an Associate Professor in Counseling, School, and Educational Psychology at SUNY Buffalo and program director for the School Counseling Program. She is author, co-author, and co-editor of several books on groups, including Leading Psychoeducational Groups for Children and Adolescents.

Allen Segrist, PhD, is Professor Emeritus in the Department of Counseling and Development at Purdue University. He taught for more than 40 years as a counselor educator.
 

Janina Fisher

Janina Fisher, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist and instructor at the Trauma Center, an outpatient clinic and research center founded by Bessel van der Kolk. Known for her expertise as both a therapist and consultant, she is also past president of the New England Society for the Treatment of Trauma and Dissociation, an EMDR International Association Credit Provider, a faculty member of the Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute, and a former Instructor at Harvard Medical School. Fisher has been an invited speaker at the Cape Cod Institute, Harvard Medical School Conference Series, the EMDR International Association Annual Conference, University of Wisconsin, University of Westminster in London, the Psychotraumatology Institute of Europe, and the Esalen Institute. She lectures and teaches nationally and internationally on topics related to the integration of research and treatment and how to introduce these newer trauma treatment paradigms in traditional therapeutic approaches.

Jason Buckles

Jason Buckles, PhD, earned his Bachelor’s in Psychology at New York University in 1992. During his time there he worked on psychiatric diagnostic projects at Bellevue Hospital and the New York Psychiatric Institute. He earned his Master’s in Counseling at The University of New Mexico in 2001 and PhD at The University of New Mexico in 2016. Since 2018 he has been the Statewide Expert Consultant for the New Mexico Health Care Authority, Developmental Disabilities Supports Division – Bureau of Behavior Support, where he oversees the sexual risk screening program, the overall system of positive behavior support, and a multitude of trainings on co-occurring mental health conditions for people with ID, dignity of risk/duty of care, acute crisis response, sexual rights and risk etc.

He is also the Director of the University of New Mexico Developmental Disability/Mental Illness (DDMI) telehealth consultation clinic. He runs multiple interdisciplinary clinics per year to support teams in their work with individuals with co-occurring conditions. He continues to share his work through courses like his work with Psychotherapy.net and trainings for the Telehealth Certification Institute (TCI) on counseling for individuals with ID and general DSM issues

Jason Linder

Jason Linder, LMFT is a PsyD student at Alliant International University, San Diego campus. Jason is trained in EMDR therapy and works in private practice at his university's center for Emotionally-focused Therapy with English and Spanish-speaking clients as well as part-time in the Palomar Family Counseling Service in Escondido. Jason was recently published in the Journal of Couple & Family Psychology, the Psychotherapy Networker, and Sage Research Methods Cases. Jason recently presented on this topic with his colleagues, Ashley Walsdorf, MS and Yamilka Urquiza Mendoza, LMFT at the annual meeting of the National Council on Family Relations. Jason is passionate about relationships and bringing needed socioculturally-attuned psychological services to the Spanish-speaking world.

Jay Lappin

Jay Lappin, MSW, LCSW is a New Jersey licensed marriage and family counselor and social worker, as well as NASW Clinical Diplomat. He is board member emeritus of the Minuchin Center for the Family, adjunct faculty for the University of Pennsylvania, Graduate School of Education and clinical supervisor for Drexel University’s Master of Family Therapy Program. For fourteen years, Jay studied, then taught and supervised at the Philadelphia Child Guidance Clinic. For fifteen years, he was the principle trainer and consultant for Delaware’s Department of Services to Youth, Children & Their Families “Family Focus” program—a “whole systems” initiative involving all three operating divisions and their personnel including a pioneer program in family reunification. He has also served on the boards and held offices for the New Jersey American Association of Marriage & Family Therapy and the American Family Therapy Academy. He has written on Structural Family Therapy from a cross cultural perspective, implementing larger systems change and conducting family sessions. He has been a contributing editor for the Psychotherapy Networker and interviewed Salvador Minuchin for psychotherapy.net.
