Deepika Bose
Deepika Bose, MS, is a doctoral student in clinical psychology at Florida International University (FIU) and a graduate student clinician at the Child Anxiety and Phobia Program in FIU. She works primarily with children and adolescents with anxiety disorders, depression, and/or OCD.
Dennis Palumbo
Formerly a Hollywood screenwriter (My Favorite Year, Welcome Back Kotter, etc.), Dennis Palumbo is now a psychotherapist in private practice, specializing in creative issues in Southern California. His latest book is From Crime to Crime, a collection of mystery short stories narrated by a therapist. He has previously written Writing from the Inside Out: Transforming Your Psychological Blocks to Release the Writer Within.
Derald Wing Sue
Derald Wing Sue is Professor of Psychology and Education in the Department of Counseling and Clinical Psychology at Teachers College and the School of Social Work, Columbia University. He received his PhD from the University of Oregon, and has served as a training faculty member with the Institute for Management Studies and the Columbia University Executive Training Programs. He was the Co-Founder and first President of the Asian American Psychological Association and author of several books, including Counseling the Culturally Diverse: Theory and Practice, Overcoming our Racism, and Understanding Abnormal Behavior.
Derrick Paladino
Derrick A. Paladino, PhD, is a professor of counseling, department chair, and Cornell Distinguished Faculty at Rollins College. Dr. Paladino has been a counselor educator for 18 years and in clinical practice longer. His areas of expertise are in multiracial identity, college counseling and student development, and crisis assessment and intervention. He has written several peer reviewed articles and book chapters and is a frequent presenter at national conferences. He is the co-editor and co-author of the following books: College Counseling and Student Development: Theory, Practice, and Campus Collaboration which received the ACCA Outstanding Contribution of Knowledge Award 2020, Foundations in Becoming a Professional Counselor: Advocacy, Social Justice and Intersectionality, and Counseling Multiple Heritage Individuals, Couples, and Families which received the AMCD Professional Development Award 2009.
Devin Ashwood
Devin Ashwood has worked in a range of substance misuse settings and is currently program leader and lecturer in addictions counseling for the Centre for Addiction Treatment Studies and the University of Bath. His specialties include mindfulness, interpersonal group therapy and cognitive therapy. He has been working in private practice as a therapist and supervisor for over ten years and has been delivering and teaching interpersonal group therapy since 2006. Devin’s work with the Mindfulness Based Relapse Prevention (MBRP) authors Sarah Bowen and Neha Chawla has helped develop and deliver a version of MBRP compatible with rolling treatment programs as well as an advanced training pathway for mindfulness teachers. He has been practicing mindfulness since 1999 and has studied with, and conducted research at the Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice on the University of Bangor’s master’s program. Devin leads a number of meditation groups and retreats throughout the year including offering his time as a Buddhist Chaplain to the prison service.

Tim Leighton, PhD is Action on Addiction’s director of professional education and research. He came to work for Clouds (residential treatment center) as a counselor in 1985, and in 1987 he went to Hazelden in Minnesota to look at their addiction counselor training programs in order to develop a course suitable for British counselors in the field. He has been leading professional education courses and degrees in the field of addiction for over 25 years. Leighton has been a UKCP registered Cognitive Analytic Psychotherapist since 1994 and is also an accredited trainer and supervisor.
Diana Fosha
Diana Fosha, PhD, is the the developer of AEDP, a healing-based, transformation-oriented model of psychotherapy, and director of the AEDP Institute. She is the author of The Transforming Power of Affect: A Model for Accelerated Change (Basic Books, 2000), and of numerous articles and chapters on transformational processes in experiential psychotherapy and trauma treatment. She is the editor, along with Dan Siegel and Marion Solomon, of The Healing Power of Emotion: Affective Neuroscience, Development, and Clinical Practice (Norton, 2009), part of Norton's Interpersonal Neurobiology Series. She is on the faculty of the Department of Psychiatry and Psychology of both NYU and St. Luke's/Roosevelt Medical Centers in NYC. She lectures widely and has done workshops, telecourses, and intensive trainings nationally and internationally in Brazil, Denmark, Italy, and Hong Kong. She teaches, supervises, and is in private practice in her beloved New York City, where she also occasionally leads AEDP training groups.
