How do I create an account?

Accounts are created in the checkout process, purchasing any membership, course, or video will prompt the account creation process and log you in upon completion of the order.

How do I access my videos and/or online courses?

You can access any videos in your membership or individually purchased online courses by logging into your account at www.psychotherapy.net.

  • Click the My Account tab or the profile icon in the upper right side of the page.
  • Enter your username and password and click the Log in button.
  • On the My Account page, click the My Learning Portal tile.

 

From your My Learning Portal you can access the following items:

  • Self-study videos
  • Perspective articles and interviews that include CE
  • Online courses

 

To select a video from your Membership:

  • Click on the Self-Study Courses tab at the top of the page.
  • Use the Search bar or use the filters to find the video you want to watch. You can filter by number of CE hours, Format, Professions, Expert, Approach, Therapeutic Issue, or Population.
  • Select your video or course and click + Register. (This will automatically add the title to the My Learning tab along the lefthand navigation bar.)
  • In the My Learning tab, click on the Start button next to the video or course you want to take.
  • On the product page, click the Watch Movie button in the Course Actions section.

 

To access your Online Course:

  • Click on the Academy tab at the top of the page.
  • Your available course will appear.
  • Select your course and click + Register. (This will automatically the course title in the My Learning tab along the lefthand navigation bar.)
  • In the My Learning tab, click on the Start button next to the course you want to take.
  • For online courses that have multiple modules, click Start next to the module title you want open.
    • On the module’s product page, click the Course Module button in the Course Actions section.
  • For online courses that have a single module, click the Start button.
    • On the product page, click Course Module button in the Course Actions section.
  • Supplementary course materials including overview, discussion questions, and exercises are available for most of our courses in the Course Actions section.

Will my membership automatically renew?

Yes, your membership will be set by default to automatically renew upon its expiration date. The credit card on file will be used to process your renewal. By automatically renewing you will not only be assured you have continual access to your CE, you maintain the purchased rate regardless of the current advertised price.

What’s the difference between a video and online course?

Videos are focused demonstrations of expert clinicians at work, offering direct insight into real therapy.

Online courses build deeper skills through focused modules and sequenced lessons, providing structured, expert-led learning experiences with real client sessions, demonstrations, and guided reflection.

How long do I have access to a membership or online course?

Memberships:

Individuals with Basic and Unlimited Memberships have access for 12 months from date of purchase. Your subscription is automatically renewed annually.

Online Courses:

When you purchase an individual online course, your access to the course is for 2 years from the date of purchase. After that time, you will continue to have access to our learning management system to download your CE certificate (should you have successfully passed the course), take other courses or membership should you have purchased one.
